Healthy homemade burger & chips

Ingredients
Serves: 4
For the burgers:
500g lean beef mince
½ onion peeled and chopped
2 tsp mixed herbs
Pinch of salt & ground black pepper
1 egg beaten
4 burger buns
For the chips:
2tbsp olive oil
2lb potatoes peeled and chopped into wedges
Method
- Start by parboiling the cut potato wedges
- Pre-heat the oven to gas mark 6.
- Heat the oil in the oven on a large baking tray.
- Toss the chips in the oil and spread out over the tray.
- Cook for 35-40 minutes turning occasionally.
- In a bowl mix together the mince, onion, herbs, seasoning and beaten egg.
- Using your hands shape the mixture into 4 tightly packed burgers.
- Grill the burgers under a medium heat for 10-12 minutes turning only once.
- Serve with a selection of lettuce, cheese and sauces to taste
